Burney Media is a video production and education company founded by Will Burney. With over a decade of experience spanning freelance film crews, broadcast news, live sports production, and education, we bring professional expertise to every project.
Our work began on film sets—working as sound mixers and boom operators on feature films and commercials across Texas. That hands-on production experience evolved into broadcast producing for local news stations and public broadcasting, developing a deep understanding of storytelling and technical production.
Today, Burney Media combines production expertise with a passion for education. We teach audio visual courses, direct student crews at live sporting events, and develop coding projects that enhance video production education. Our mission is to train the next generation of content creators while building technology that makes learning more effective.

Will Burney is a video production educator and developer with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication from Texas State University.
His career spans film production, broadcast news, public broadcasting, and education—experience that drives Burney Media's mission to bridge production and education through technology.
